Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions will tell you how this website functions and what you can expect if you decide to use The Auto Body Experience for your collision repair needs. By viewing this website or scheduling an appointment, you agree to these terms. The aim is to provide a clear understanding of what any driver can expect before starting.
Eligibility for Use
This website is intended for adults seeking information on auto body repair in the Chatsworth area. All individuals scheduling an estimate or authorizing a service must be at least eighteen years old.
General Service Terms
The Auto Body Experience provides a complete range of services, including collision repair, dent repair, auto painting, frame and structural repairs, bumper and fender repair, and assistance with your insurance claim. All work is performed by qualified and certified technicians.
An estimate is the best judgment at the time of inspection. If problems are discovered later, adjustments to costs or time may be necessary. You will be notified before any additional work is done. Your repair will not begin until you or your insurance company give your approval.
Customer Responsibilities
When you ask for service, you will give us correct contact information and vehicle details, and you will remove any personal items from the vehicle before you give it to us. The shop won’t be responsible for valuables left in the car.
If you have an insurance claim, it’s your responsibility to understand your policy and what’s covered, what your deductibles are. We can walk you through the process, but we can’t forecast how your insurance company will react or what they’ll approve.
Appointment Scheduling
Scheduling appointments can help keep things running smoothly and reduce waiting. We make every effort to keep to the schedule. Delays may occur when parts are late, new damage is found, or insurance approvals take longer than anticipated. You will be informed whenever there is a change that might impact the schedule.
Replacement Parts
Repairs can be done using original equipment parts, certified aftermarket parts, or other approved parts, depending on what is available, what the insurance company requires, or your choice when possible. You will be notified if the selected parts impact cost or schedule.
Workmanship Warranty
The Auto Body Experience guarantees your repairs with a lifetime artistry warranty, as long as you own the vehicle. This warranty applies to repairs involving labor and application for collision, structural, and paint-related repairs. It does not apply to new damage, normal wear and tear, or environmental and improper care damage.
Paint refinishes are included if the problem is related to the application itself, such as peeling or cracking. Chipping, scratches, and sun fading are not included in this warranty.
Site Usage
All material on this site, including text, images, and trademarks, is the property of The Auto Body Experience. You may look at and use the information for your own purposes, but you may not reproduce or distribute it without written consent.
Information Accuracy
The shop does its best to maintain the site’s accuracy and update it. Nevertheless, services, prices, and other information may change without notice. Even if we do our best to provide the right information, you agree that the shop is not responsible for changes that occur after the information has been posted.
Estimates and Pricing
Phone estimates are only estimates. A good estimate usually involves an inspection. Some issues will not be apparent until the vehicle is opened up or connected to a computer. The final cost may be adjusted depending on the availability of parts and input from the insurance company.
Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of pickup unless other arrangements have been made with us. We accept the forms of payment that are normal for local businesses. If an insurance company pays you directly, it is your responsibility to turn that payment over to the shop.
Limitation of Liability
The Auto Body Experience aims to fix your car with utmost care and precision. The repair shop can’t be held responsible for any indirect damages, such as the trouble of waiting for a rental car, transportation issues, or expenses related to the insurance process. The length of the repair time will depend on the severity of the damage, the availability of parts, and the level of involvement of the insurance company.
Third Party Links
Links on this website may lead you to social pages, review websites, or other resources. These websites have their own rules and regulations regarding privacy. Opening these websites is your choice.
Privacy and Data Use
When you contact the repair shop or sign up for updates, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. This information will only be used to keep you updated on your estimated repair progress or to answer general inquiries. It is not sold or distributed, except when it is required for insurance processing purposes.
Right to Refuse Service
The Auto Body Experience may decline a service if the request is not safe or suitable for service, or if there are factors that prevent the shop from providing work that meets their standards.
Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may change over time. Continued use of the site or services means you agree to the revised terms once posted.
